The Family Treasures 2nd Hand Store was created to provide quality new and used items at reasonable prices. This helps our community is these ways:
- Local shoppers can stretch the buying power of their dollar when shopping.
- Provides a way for people to donate goods knowing all proceeds will stay in the community.
- Helps Family Service earn funds to directly help families in crisis.
Where does the ‘new stuff’ come from?
Local retail stores often are challenged to make room in their store when seasons change, or a manufacturer changes their packaging. Other types of donation are ‘display models’. These items are donated directly to Family Service, and we can then offer these products to you at tremendous discount! What types of things? Shoes, clothing, soaps, personal care, appliances, etc.
Used items come from people just like you!
Spring cleaning, downsizing a home, children moving away—all are great opportunities to donate items to help us help others. We have friendly staff that will come to your home to pick things up, or you may drop them off at door #3 at the back of our building, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
