3rd annaul CANstruction event canned food drive!

- Food will be gathered every day through Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 5:00pm

- CANNED FOOD can be dropped off everyday until Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 5:00pm
LOCATIONS: Rimrock Mall, Rocky Mountain College, Rocky Mountain Bank

IT STARTS WITH ONE CAN®. TO FEED THE HUNGRY. TO LIFT THE SPIRIT. TO CHANGE THE WORLD.

Cans will then be donated to Billings Food Bank and Family Service, Incto support the great work that they do in our community. 1-31-12 Plastic Bags? We could use them!

So…you know those plastic bags you bring groceries home in? We’d love if you recycled yours through Family Service Inc! Clients use these to put clothes in from our free clothing room, and we also ‘recycle’ them in our thrift store for people’s purchases. If you have some around the house, right now we could REALLY use them–a little or a lot! Thanks for spreading the word. Hit “share” and repost on your wall so your friends can see this. Thanks for helping us out!

CANstruction Event ~ You CAN make a difference!

Join us on February 1st, 2012 from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the Selover Room of the Student Union Building at Rocky Mountain College. This will be the kick-off meeting for this year’s CANstruction event, to be held at Rimrock Mall.

This year’s event is shaping up to be a great benefit fundraiser for the Billings Food Bank and Family Service, Inc. Cold weather always brings new demands for kids that keep growing. For families that struggle to make ends meet, this is one area you can help. If you have warm clothes that your kids have outgrown or can no longer wear, we can make sure they get to a child who can. Thanks for your help! Drop off your donations at 1824 First Ave. N. from 8 AM – 5 PM M-F or 8AM – 4 PM on Saturdays!

Family Service Inc SOLE FOOD!!! Thank you to the employees of U.S. Bank in Billings and Bozeman for collecting 449 pairs of new socks for our neighbors in need! At a time of year when socks are desperately needed, your generosity makes a difference!

Family Service is so pleased to announce receiving a grant of $6,612 to help make sure families do not go hungry in Yellowstone County! The emergency food program is supported by a grant from the S.L. Gimbel Foundation, a component fund at The Community Foundation of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in California. A special thank you goes to The Montana Community Foundation for making us aware of this grant opportunity!
