Craig Campbell to perform at Dining Out for Life Fundraiser on October 20, 2012

Family Service is thrilled to announce country music star Craig Campbell as headline entertainment at our 2012 “Dining Out for Life” fundraiser! Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 20 at 5:30 p.m. and join us for a filet mignon dinner, silent auction and Campbell in concert.

The event theme, “Hope for Solid Ground,” was inspired by Campbell’s hit single, “Family Man.” Please help us celebrate the importance of family and community at this fun event.

Individual tickets are $150, and a variety of sponsorships are available. Ticket sales will begin on Friday, June 1. For more information, call us at 406-259-2269.

Our third annual Ladies’ Brunch and ARTS Auction (Art Rescued From Thrift Stores) is Saturday, March 24 from 10AM to noon at Q Cuisine! This year’s event will feature unique water colors, fine pottery, delicate embroidery, rare prints and much more! Professional framing provided by Nancy’s Frame Cottage. Tickets are $50 each.

Our free room for distributing clothing can always use clothes your kids have outgrown, or items you no longer wear. Household items are always needed to help families, and your donations help right here in our community!

So…you know those plastic bags you bring groceries home in? We’d love if you recycled yours through Family Service Inc! Clients use these to put clothes in from our free clothing room, and we also ‘recycle’ them in our thrift store for people’s purchases. If you have some around the house, right now we could REALLY use them–a little or a lot! Thanks for spreading the word. Hit “share” and repost on your wall so your friends can see this. CANstruction Event ~ You CAN make a difference!

Join us on February 1st, 2012 from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the Selover Room of the Student Union Building at Rocky Mountain College. This will be the kick-off meeting for this year’s CANstruction event, to be held at Rimrock Mall.

This year’s event is shaping up to be a great benefit fundraiser for the Billings Food Bank and Family Service, Inc. Cold weather always brings new demands for kids that keep growing. For families that struggle to make ends meet, this is one area you can help. If you have warm clothes that your kids have outgrown or can no longer wear, we can make sure they get to a child who can. Thanks for your help!
